The Monitor window displays what other people on the Gnutella network are searching for. Please note that often people search for things which you may consider offensive, so do not be surprised if you see these searches in the Monitor window.

The monitor can be disabled by unchecking the Enabled checkbox near the bottom-left of the window. This may result in a slight decrease of processor usage. The Number of results to show text box can be changed in order to increase/decrease the number of visible searches. The change occurs when RETURN is pressed in this text box.
